Add Sections

predefined sections are pre-built rows of elements which users can add to their responsive sites. predefined sections enable users to build great looking sites quickly by saving time during the design process. The infrastructure was built in order to provide a better user experience with a variety of pre-made predefined sections.

Add Sections

To add predefined sections of widgets:

  1. Hover between rows, and click the Add predefined section button. predefined sections display in the left panel.
  2. In predefined section Mode, a gallery of pre-made predefined sections is available in the left panel, grouped into categories (Intro, Features, About, Team, Testimonials, and so on).
  3. In the left panel, click a predefined section to display it as a new row. You can then browse predefined sections within the same group by using the arrows keys or by selecting a predefined section from a different group.
  4. To embed the predefined section into the site, click Save. Alternatively, click Save & Add Another to continue adding predefined sections to your site.
    The predefined sectionconverts into a row and all elements in the predefined section are editable.
Note
  • predefined sections do not use any custom CSS, and are all build within the editor by designers.
  • predefined sections do not use the text color or text font settings from the site theme settings. However, you can always clear the format and apply your design.
  • predefined sections may contain more than one row.
  • predefined sections cannot be used in the header. To switch the full header predefined section, open the header editor. For more information, see Headers.
  • predefined sections are not available for sidebar templates (for example, Portfolio, Milk and Cookies, and so on).

Create a Flex Section with AI

To streamline the creation process and enhance design flexibility, you can utilize the AI Assistant to generate content and design for flex sections.

Note

You must be on a Team plan or higher and have AI permissions to use this feature.

This feature is being gradually rolled out to all users and is currently only available to create flex sections in the classic and Editor 2.0 editors.
